Artist, producer & composer David Arkenstone’s loyal Arkenfans were stunned by the announcement that he is releasing a 20th Anniversary follow up to the original Music Inspired by Middle Earth, Vol. I, which was released in 2002....it is aptly named Music Inspired by Middle Earth, Vol., a cinematic and modern reimagination of the epic tale that may be considered more classical than new age.
Today marked the reveal of the first single and cover art for "The Houses of Healing" featuring J. R. R. Tolkien's legendary characters Faramir and Eowyn. In celebration of the release, Arkenstone ran a special contest for his Arkenfan community, while music blogger Robin James broke the news of the release on Ello, and music journalist Jonathan Widran was treated to an exclusive Middle Earth-inspired Listening Party complete with tiny Hobbit-worthy Tea Cakes in our private listening room.
