Chakuna Machi Asa (“Ancestor, Healer”) is a musician, artist, and founder of 4 Directions
Records, based in Michigan. She is also a Crystal Lover, Seiðr, and Healer who holds certifications in Massage Therapy, Reiki III, Therapeutic Kinesiology, Crystal Healing Therapy, and Reiki Drumming.
We are excited to announce her upcoming album Auroral Magic, which is on presale now . In this new work, Chakuna taps into her gifts to bridge the gap between modern culture and the ancient ancestors, and shares it with all to inspire personal transformation. For this upcoming album, Chakuna pays homage to her Nordic lineage, inspired by exploring her ancestry through cultural studies of the old Norse traditions. The album was created with her ancestors speaking and singing through her. Auroral Magic will be released on June 11, 2021.
We are also happy to announce that Chakuna's previous release, Activation Sounds: Ancient Chakra Healing Chants is a finalist in the category of Iconic Music for the 2021 COVR Visionary Awards , and her beautiful jewelry, Guided Visionary Necklace is nominated in the Jewelry with Stones category. Winners will be announced on Saturday, June 12, 2021.
