Beth Ann Hilton founded The B Company in 2002, following several years developing and managing the Strategic Promotions department for Warner Music Group, working across all of the labels and divisions, encompassing PR, New Media, Sponsorship, and TV/Film licensing. Originally dedicated to Partnership Marketing, we’ve generated positive marketing results for myriad record companies, managers and indie artists including Nettwerk Records, MovieTunes, SHOUT! Factory, NonProfit Music, Orange Peal Records, AO Music and Shadowside Music, pairing them with partners such as MySpace.com, NASCAR, IMAX, YouthAIDS, TVDesktop, AOL.com, HavServe and Spa Buzz.
In 2006, The B Company expanded to include a broader scope of publicity, content creation, online marketing, social media, and publishing services. By 2010, it became clear that her goal of creating a hive of positive and like-minded clients and artists would result in cross-pollination and productive collaboration between artists, clients and partners.

Beth Ann Hilton is a marketing communications specialist based in Studio City, CA. For the last twelve years, she has provided excellence in marketing and public relations for her entertainment, lifestyle, fashion and non-profit clients. Beth has a lifelong history of social activism, which she dovetails with her current business approach to serving artists and companies producing positive and transformational entertainment.
Prior to founding The B Company, Beth headed the Strategic Promotions department for Warner Music Group, Inc., where she created and managed corporate partnerships and integrated strategic promotions for the company’s Atlantic, Elektra, Lava, Maverick, Warner Bros./Reprise, Warner Nashville, WEA Latina, Nonesuch and Rhino Record labels, as well as, its TimeWarner sister companies. She enjoyed the opportunity to serve artists as renowned as Ray Charles, The Eagles, Sugar Ray, Rob Thomas, Brandy, Barenaked Ladies, Third Eye Blind and Linkin Park, as well as established artists like Brad Mehldau, Norman Brown, Michael Buble', Blake Shelton, Faith Hill, Natalie Merchant and more. During her six years at WMG, Beth gained a reputation for initiating and maintaining strong relationships by listening carefully and producing successful partnership marketing campaigns. She managed the company’s multi-million dollar alliance with General Motors (Led Zepplin/Cadillac) and developed corporate relationships with other automotive and Fortune 500 companies including Philips, Nestle and Revlon and more. In addition, she created several cross-divisional, multi-media TV/Cable opportunities that spawned significant promotional benefits for all parties, including AOL, Warner Bros., New Line, The WB!, Turner Broadcasting, and Time Inc.
Beth also represented WMG as a spokesperson at marketing trade shows and events, educating potential partners about WMG priorities and incorporating various label marketing initiatives. She has been quoted on music marketing in Brandweek, PROMO, Chief Marketer, and hosted discussion panels at industry events. A great believer in the power of humor, her most memorable presentation was at the annual marketing mecca The LA Roadshow, when she passed (pre-SNL) comedian Fred Armisen off as a caffeine-chugging, buzzword-afflicted marketing CFO, much to the shock and delight of the marketing executives in the audience at the Kodak theater. Her music career began in Business and Legal Affairs at the premiere music reissue/compilation company, Rhino Entertainment, where she also enjoyed booking speakers for the company's Social & Environmental Responsibility Team (SERT). She had moved from NYC to Los Angeles in the nineties, spending two years doing Film/TV development work for writer/producers like Willie Kutner (Rebel Highway), Pat Resnick (9-5), Suzanne Bauman (Jackie: Behind the Myth), and learning the ropes at various studios. Entering Rhino with an interest in their film department soon led to a passion for the company's varied music projects and social conscience.
Beth is a graduate of Temple University's School of Communication and Theater with a major in Journalism. She began her communications career as an Associate Editor at Harcourt Brace Jovanovich Publications (now Advanstar Communications), where she became the youngest Managing Editor in the history of the company, winning seven editorial excellence awards for the fashion trade magazine BfiA/H&U. Later, Beth joined Rowland Worldwide, a top-tier public relations firm owned by the world-renowned marketing firm of Saatchi and Saatchi, helping to execute public relations for their premiere client, E.I. du Pont de Nemours. Beth contributed to the Teflon, Barbie and Mattel accounts, while also managing everyday press contacts, writing brochures, and making fashion presentations for the Lycra brand.
Throughout her career, Beth has written articles for the trade and consumer press, handling business and technical writing with equal skill. As a writer, she has been published in Entertainment Weekly, The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, Backstage West, BEING, and The Circle, a poetry journal. In recent years, she has increased her focus on the healthy lifestyle, green marketing, and conscious entertainment markets.
Currently residing in Los Angeles with her family, Beth enjoys live music, hiking, dining out, her neurotic cats, and volunteering at her son’s school.
